Katherine focuses her litigation practice on civil defense, representing clients in matters ranging from construction defects and employment disputes to constitutional challenges. With experience as both a criminal prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, she brings a well-rounded perspective to litigation and is at ease in the courtroom. Her background provides a strategic advantage in adversarial proceedings, and she approaches each case with both tenacity and empathy—recognizing the personal and professional impact litigation can have on clients.
Katherine earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School, completing their two-year accelerated program. While studying in rural South Royalton, she served on the Vermont Law Review and authored the article “Melting ICE with RICO,” which advocated for prosecuting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
