Greg Theo grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. Greg attended and graduated law school during the death throes of the Apartheid regime. After graduating law school, he served as Clerk to Judge Michael S. Stegmann in the Johannesburg High Court.
Greg’s legal practice began as South Africa struggled towards democracy. Early in his career, Greg represented trade unions, NGOs, and other entities resisting the Apartheid government.
Greg spent several years in Johannesburg's major insurance defense firms. Greg established his own firm in Johannesburg in 1999. Greg immigrated to the United States in 2007.
In Colorado, Greg initially worked in busy Plaintiff personal injury firms. He has spent the last several years in insurance defense firms with a focus on the defense of construction defect and personal injury claims.
Outside of the office, Greg is passionate about nature, animals, wildlife, rugby and endurance sport.
