Jacob has spent his career in and around the courtroom. During law school, he clerked with the Oregon Department of Justice as well as the Honorable Elizabeth Weishaupl in Colorado's 18th Judicial District. Before joining Overturf McGath & Hull, he worked in varied areas of the law but always remained focused on litigation. He has experience handling complex construction disputes, professional liability claims against architects and engineers, constitutional torts, and a variety of other civil and commercial disputes.

Jacob's focus is on first seeking to understand his client's goals, and the problems that are being presented. Whether its through facilitating an early resolution or pursuing a matter through trial and final judgment, Jacob always seeks to find creative solutions to the problems that face his clients and to help them to reach their goals.
